Simon is a business owner, keynote speaker, Olympic medalist and former professional athlete - LinkedIn

Athletic achievements include 4 time Olympian  (gold in 2000 and silver in 2008); 12 national championships, 14 world cup titles; Canada’s flag bearer at 2012 Olympics in London, England.

Simon was inducted into Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame in 2017, the Canadian Triathlon Hall of Fame in 2014 and the International Triathlon Union Hall of Fame in 2015.

Simon draws business insights from his lifelong commitment to sport, training and competition to assess start-ups. He is well known for his leadership, advocacy and mentorship. Simon co-founded an angel investment group dedicated to healthy, active living in 2015 along with Brenda Irwin.

Simon is a committed ambassador of sport and health and has worked with non-profit organizations such as KidSport and PowerToBe – two organizations that focus on youth and healthy living programs. He is also a founding champion for the national not-for-profit organization Canadian Men’s Health Foundation (CMHF).

Simon has been awarded an Honorary Doctor of Laws from the University of Guelph as well as from the University of Victoria.
